--Beer--Actually--Really--The skinny:  
 
The Jemez hot springs are surrounded by beautiful coniferous forest (with those sweet-smelling Ponderosas, too!), and are shallow, clear pools of naturally warm water. (Warm, not hot. It's nice on a summer day.) There are thousands of tiny fish in each pool, and while they like to nibble, it just tickles a bit. :lol: This is an all-weather event, because you know it doesn't rain here, and by now you should be used to the wind.   
We're throwing an all-out lit bash here. Bring something you've written that you'd like to share, bring your favorite works by someone else, or bring some of each. If you don't wan --Beer--Actually--Really--

--Free Beer--We are going to the Georgia O'Keefe Museum in Santa Fe on Sunday, March 13th, 2005. The museum is open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. If the times below do not work for you, leave a comment here and we will respond to it. If we get enough requests to change the time, we will.   
Those of you from outside Albuquerque, meet us at the Museum at 12:00 PM (noon :p). We've never been there before, so wherever the main entrance is--we'll meet there.   
Those of you closer to Albuquerque, meet us at the Coronado Mall foodcourt anywhere from 9:30 to 10:30 in the morning. If the mall isn't open yet, meet us at the entrance closest to the --Free Beer--

Admin Gets off their Asses:devdeviantalbuquerque: admin have started actually planning things—yay! We have several plausible activities at this point; all we need is your feedback. Since we’re still new at this, bear with us as we work out all the kinks.  
 
The Tamarind Institute in Albuquerque is apparently home to lithography experts. We know jack about lithography, but we’re curious. So if any of you graphic art connoisseurs would like to head over there for a free tour, we’d love to join you. Scheduling is going to be awkward, at best, but let us know if you’re interested and we’ll work something out! Tours require advance reservations, but we’ll take c Admin Gets off their Asses

    Hello All.

    I would have updated earlier this week, but I'm still recovering from my trip to Denver.

    Since there was no reaction to the last post, I'll quickly reiterate:

    We need an activity for out summer 2007 devmeet. I'm liking the idea of a poetry reading at a park, though I would like to hear what y'all would like to do.

    That storm!!! Gahhh! It killed my computer!!! Blarrgharghargh!!!!

    The motherboard and power supply both died... I guess a power surge hit..... right before I unplugged my computer from the outlet.
